Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino is a laid-back accommodation option that provides complimentary Wi-Fi and parking. The resort features various dining choices, an outdoor pool, and a casino for entertainment. Guests have praised the friendly staff and newly renovated rooms, which offer good value compared to those on the Vegas strip. While some amenities may be lacking in certain rooms, overall cleanliness and comfort are highlighted as positives by visitors. Additionally, the surrounding area offers convenience with nearby fast food options and a gas station.
From the time we walked in the front doors the staff was friendly and inviting. They were very nice, accommodating, and checked to make sure everything was going well. Overall, the staff provided such a positively enjoyable experience. I needed some minor first aid (a blister on my foot) and the overnight security personnel assisted and truly cared. We look forward to returning because of the exceptional customer service the staff provided. The room location was nice, we had a lovely view of the pool and the beautiful courtyard. This location is pet friendly and the courtyard is a nice place to let a dog walk around and play, on a leash. The pool is shaped like a Buffalo which is a fun feature. The rooms are affordable. We did have a minor issue with the room. However, the staff was quick to assist. It is clear to me they are working hard to improve the quality of stay and the hotel. We did have a lot of fun during our stay.

Casino was fully inundated with cigarette smoke, ashtrays were overflowing of smoldering cigarette butts. Couldn't breath, or see no more than 2 feet in front of our group. Our poor Poodle was having a difficult time navigating through the smoke.

When I was a kid I spent many awesome weekends out at state line with my family. I was really hoping my kids would be able to experience and appreciate this place like I did. But after being here for the the first time in about 5 years I was sad to see what has become of what used to be such a fun place. The casino was practically empty... And it was quiet, too quiet for a casino. The roller coaster is not running.😭 The woman at the hotel check-in desk told us the owner intends to tear down the roller coaster. That itself kind of ruined the trip for me. And then to see the log ride bone dry... Definitely not the weekend getaway I envisioned. The whole feel of buffalo bills is nothing like it used to be..... I really would like to see buffalo bills and the other casinos at state line rebound from the pandemic and come back with a vengeance instead of burning out like this...

I didn't enjoy the casino because of the atmosphere. It was very dark. I know casinos usually have a theme. So for this theme it was as if it was night time only indoors. So the ceiling was black. There were trees inside and a train and a bridge were water used to run. It was empty. Really just a lot of clutter of things that would be outside. Even at Denny's, which is inside the casino, was very dark with minimal lighting. It made me feel depressed. I couldn't imagine working there for 8 hours in darkness. Personally, I love light and happiness. I was happy to see people there. It did bring joy to the place with some people there. Otherwise, I feel like it would be lonely without people.

The room was nice. Housekeeping is not equipped. We checked in, and there were no towels. No one to bring them. There was no fridge in the room. Don't expect in room coffee. The next day I asked for towels. The maids did not have bath towels on their carts. The casino properties have not been as fun as before covid-19. It's a shell of what it used to be. Not much staff either.

We stopped at the Chevron in Primm and found the Pit Stop Pizza. We decided to order a pizza and the server, Alicia Davis, was incredibly nice and kind. She explained how the pizza would be prepared. We watched her prepare the pizza and she put so many toppings on the pizza, we were super excited and shocked. When the pizza came out, Alicia made sure it was all the way cooked and even put it back in for a bit to make sure the crust and cheese was fully cooked. She was amazing and great. The pizza was very delicious and we were very pleased.

I can't believe how run down this hotel has gotten over the years. Doesn't look like they maintenance it definitely does not look like they clean it.Our room had hair, dirt and mold in bathroom and room.Unfortunately I have stayed at better motel 6 for way less in a small town. Much much clearer.Try to use the phone to call room service and the front desk the room phone would not work.Unfortunately we sat at the bar to play and waited about a half hour before we received our first drink. Bartenders were horrible horrific would not even look at you, unless you weren't playing and we're going to pay cash.Went to one section on the floor barely can get a drink.Went to another side and the waitress was awesome she was on top of it.The only thing that made our trip was the music, the one tall waitress and the steakhouse.

I have been coming and staying here for some years now, I never had a serious issue if any at all and if I did they took care of it for me here at Buffalo. The staff is very friendly, and if you play enough to get a higher tier card they definitely take care of you. The hosts are great. Denny's is always open and is a great choice to dine. I have met Eric Estrada here by invitation of a Tournament and much more! I'm not even 40 yet and I love it here it's calm and you don't have to do much walking at all. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about is the new price of the beers at the bar, a beer is $13 now? That's ridiculous ... I will be there next week!

What is the name of the roller coaster? This one is related to King Kong if I remember correctly. I think I think it is worth the $5 and would gladly buy an annual pass. Thanks for having this wild ride!

It got us when we read many upgrades. Haven't seen them yet. The restroom in our room has an air vent that's not even working. Brought a 4yr old and we told him there was a pool here. The surprise was on us when the front desk told us its not open. I kept telling my wife about the great buffet here. Our other surprise was that the buffet only opens on Saturday. and this is just the things I've seen as we checked in a few minutes ago.

The hotel room was renovated and was very clean. Registration staff were friendly and helpful. Bar staff weren't too friendly, and the bar area could have been kept up better. The arena was a great venue inside the hotel. The stage bar was a great pre and post concert addition. Bar staff at the stage bar were quick and friendly. Overall, a good hotel for a concert night.

This place is DISGUSTING!!!!! DO not stay here!! We walk in and it smells like pee and there are towels and sheets on the floor when you walk in the door, which by the way was wide open! As you walk through the maze to find your room, it’s about 111 degrees and the floor has dishes, garbage and towels on the floor. I was in absolute shock that this place is so dirty. There’s grime on literally everything, it hasn’t been properly cleaned since it was built and the location is in the middle nowhere. I feel like I need a shower just being in this building. None of the amusement rides work either. You’d be better off staying in a motel six in the hood. There’s freakin blood all over the place too. What in the murderous hell is going on here?UPDATE: we called and complained about the pubes stuck to everything, and grime and mess everywhere so they offer to move us to a better room and it's worse!! It smells like weed and cigarettes and is even grimier. Just don’t stay here. If you decide to risk it, bring a plastic bag to sleep in and don’t take your shoes off. Make sure your shots are up to date too. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya, good luck kids.0/10 recommend this hell hole.NEW UPDATE: The new murder dungeon also comes with live crickets! You cant even make this up. Also, there’s a moldy Nutter butter cookie under the bed.Still 0/10 recommend.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. From the looks of it the room wasn't cleaned. The bathroom definitely wasn't cleaned. There was hair in the shower, in the sink, on the floor. Trash in the room and hair in the bed. We asked for cleaning service, which they said they would, but upon returning after dinner nothing had changed. Unfortunately rooms everywhere were booked and it was late so we had no choice but to stay. It was so gross I wore shoes in the shower. Don't stay here!!!

It's about an hour drive from the LV strip. Like the decor, but it was very dusty, needs a cleaning for sure, including some of the slots. Was a small, quiet casino, wish the rides were operational. We went during the day time. A lot of the waitress seemed like they didn't want to get drinks. They were just walking around quietly with their trays and books. I did not stay at this hotel. I just came for the slots and hoped for the rides.

We reserved a room this weekend, asking for a remodeled room since there were a good amount of remodeled rooms available. When we headed inside the room, the pictures provided below is the room we received. To begin, the head rest was falling off and was not attached to where it should have been. Second, when we opened the mini fridge door there was dust and trash. These are just a few of the things we are sharing but if you look into the provided pictures you will notice that this room is clearly not remodeled or even getting the proper cleaning done. When we asked for another room we were told that there were none available and offered an inspection of the room at a later time. Luckily we killed some time in Las Vegas and did receive a phone call where they apologized for the inconvenience and that there was another room available. I don’t usually like to make negative reviews but I believe it is something that they should work on and I thank them for getting back to us about another room.

Yesterday I had an Issue no one seemed to help me with, today I Spoke w Isabella & Marcus who Helped me Greatly, do to the lack of Handicapped spaces available I was able to Park up front near the entrance. Thank You Marcus 😊 he changed my Review from 1 to 5 Stars. I wish I can say the same about the rooms. I like the Upgrade A side has gotten, I'm in a Handicapped room and the Shower Bench is unable to be sat on, being Bent. The TV every 30/45 minutes has to clear some kind of system and takes 10 min to reboot. The Carpeting is Gross, so Please bring sandals. The AC works Great and the View is Nice 😍 I had room #607

It was a really cool place and I loved the themes and the detail of the art works, only thing is they Don't have enough worker's and that's why the roller coaster is not running or anything else for that matter and the pool was only open for one short time on one of the three days we were there. BUT I won $600 on my 1st night there and landed 3 night's comped to me for free plus $30 in free gas. So overall I had a great time. But I would love to ride that damned roller coaster just once. Lol 😆

I was on a solo cross-country trip and stayed here because of its proximity to the desert. The rooms are fine and everything worked in my room. I had a king bed non-smoking.I was surprised that the casino was not very smoky. Perhaps that was because it was a Sunday and the crowds were very thin.I ate at the Denny's on the casino floor. It was fine.

We stayed at Buffalo Bills for 2 days 7/28-7/30, stay wasn’t bad, our room had a noisy AC unit that once we reported it the maintenance guy came to replace it with a new unit! As for the room, bed is nice but walls were dirty seems like some threw soda on the wall and hasn’t been cleaned up the bathroom is a bit outdated. Rooms could sure use a makeover. For dinner on our second night we had they BBQ buffet that advertised, not good at all!! Ribs, mash potatoes and chicken all had no flavor, seemed like the extra BBQ sauce in top was to hide the lack of flavor. The tri-tip was, but according to their menu items there was supposed to be beef brisket and corn bread served, when I asked about those items I was told they weren’t part of the menu. This hotel needs better food options inside as Denny’s is the only good food there. The beers(tall cans) at the little store they have inside are $7! not bad since at the gas station it’s $5. Over all I would stay here again but hopefully my next experience will be better and the hotel will have cleaner rooms

"Family attractions hotel and casino turned into slum landlord". Imagine coming here as a kid 25 years ago, thinking this was the best place in the world as a kid, decided to do that same thing with my kids 25 years later not knowing every damn family attraction is closed. There’s a couple arcade games open at best over 60% of the restaurants and other amenities are closed at any given day, go to the front office to pick up the room keys, she said the owner plans to demolish the roller coaster and log ride for more rooms and a golf course who in there right mind is gonna play golf in 100 degrees plus weather, as someone who has 50,000 followers on social media blogger I can promise you this since I showed my video to my followers and seeing my kids reaction on what this place has become since after Covid, my followers they said get back to what it was a family attraction or close up for good. Because Vegas and California residents agree they wont be steping foot in this casino until something drastic is done with this place. If you’re looking for a place to sleep, if you can’t make it to Vegas, I recommend sleeping in your car instead for the night.

Half the price of hotels on the Vegas strip. The staff was kind and helpful. The room I am in does not have a fridge nor microwave, and the electrical plugs are pushed far into the wall… they don’t hold up well when trying to charge any of my personal devices. I stayed here for a total of 11 or so days while waiting for my new place. The fast food and gas station prices nearby are very high. It isn’t crowded, there’s a pool, a fitness center with clean water to drink. The outside area with the pool has seating and is fenced in so my dog had room to roam. The mattresses did not have fitted sheets, just a couple layers of sheets. The shower wasn’t as clean as I’d like (hair on the floor) but it was an okay stay for my situation.

This stay was not great (we stayed two weeks prior and it was great) Our rooms had no bath towels. We asked for towels and they never came. We had to use hand towels to dry off after our showers. It worked but not ideal. Room needed a good cleaning but the beds and bathroom were clean. Our rooms were comped and they also comped our resort fee since we had issues with towels. Wagon Wheel grill was good. Customer service was great. We will be back!

Stopped in here real quick and donated to help them keep the lights on. It’s kinda run down but well decorated, with a western/mining theme and has some neat features. I thought the Bonnie & Clyde memorabilia was interesting! Plenty of open machines to throw your money into as well. We grabbed a drink from a bar tender who was busy drinking his own beer and couldn’t have cared less we were there or to help out.

The table games were fun, dealers were great. Coffee shop made good dark coffee. After being close during Covid, Buffalo Bills is def making a comeback.

I recently stayed Friday and Saturday night for a concert in the Arena. Great show and easy to get to. When I checked in to my room the TV didn’t work. It was playing great music through it though. I called the desk and finally at 10:30 a service guy showed. He couldn’t fix it and screwed it up so the good music wouldn’t even play. Said he’d be back early in the morning, never showed again. Went to the buffet one night and that was the worst buffet I have ever eaten at in my life for $40 plus dollars

We book this location as a fun cheesy last night before flying home after a partial week of Sequoia tree sightseeing. What a mistake! The room was cheap and very nice for its price. However, the positives end there. The overall facility, except for the Casino and two restaurants (Denny’s and a fast food like Mexican), were closed by 7:00 pm or never open. There are no fun amusement rides as posted on their website and the good arcade is at the Whiskey Pete’s location. Finally, when I asked the front desk personnel about all the closures versus what is advertised on the website, they said I just work at the front desk and cannot do anything about that…then they followed by saying most things are available for the weekend or special events. We stayed on a Thursday night…not like we were here on Monday or Tuesday. Also, my third slot machine was broken. It took my money and did do anything or return my money. It took about 10 minutes to get anyone to help me…the bartender had to send for someone. To top it off the pool that is posted as closing at dark was locked before 7:00 pm on 6/13/24. The sunset was arriving 9 something. In short, you definitely get what you pay for…I’d skip this option, if at all possible.Additional negatives, the coffee shop is closed at 8:30 AM for a “break” and the store that shows it will reopen at 4:00 AM is still closed after 8:00 AM. Please see pictures.

The bed was comfortable which is why 2 stars. It's seen it's better days. The ol girl is on hospice. Dining locations closed, staff apologetic from time we checked in. Attractions from days gone by dry like the fake river running through the casino. If it's here the next time- and we will be sure not to stop- that will surprise me.

I rarely leave reviews but after seeing recent ones, I figured I would make people aware of what the rooms are really like. We arrived late or else I would have requested a refund. Our bed was clean (I will give them that) but the bathroom was not cleaned at all. The shower had hair smeared all over, there were stains on the floor, the sink was full of some sort of debris (either cracking or it was from the fact that the sink clogs if you barely use it). The shower was also clogged and super slippery from whatever was getting backed up from being clogged. I put a towel down just to shower and if I hadn’t- I would have probably slipped and fell… I’m 29 and a nurse. I travel the country for my job and we stayed here for my fiancés love of fallout game but this place had few redeeming qualities. The morning we left, the elevators were down and it didn’t seem like anyone was in a hurry to fix it. They made us use the service elevator and we had to walk through their service area which was FILTHY. The rollercoaster is broken, half the amenities/attractions are closed. It was bizarre but the cleanliness was the biggest factor. We only stayed one night and upon checking out, the lady at the front had an attitude when I told her about the clogged sink and shower. I wasn’t even trying to get a refund and she looked at me and said “okay so what do you want?” … nothing? I figured maintenance would want to know so that an elderly person doesn’t slip and fall in the shower??? That seems like the general population staying there. Point of the story, don’t stay here. They’re charging $150 + a night and aren’t doing anything to upkeep the place or keep it clean.

Nice place to stay if you’re on your way to or from California! Las Vegas isn’t far, but can often be more expensive and crowded, so this is a good alternative. The lobby/casino area has a really cool look! The rooms weren’t fancy but pretty nice.Note that they do tack on a resort fee at time of payment, so be prepared for some additional costs. Also, while the roller coaster looks like a lot of fun, unfortunately it’s not running, so don’t get your hopes up!

We booked to stay here on our long drive from Idaho to southern CA. It took quite sometime to receive help to check in, no one was up front for sometime. We have a pet with us, putting us in a pet friendly room. The room was FILTHY. The bedding still had previous hair on it, the floors were not cleaned, the sides of the bed have mud- dirt lined up them. The dresser was broke in numerous places as well as the night stand, and did not look wiped down, the curtains have a burn whole in them, the walls have scuffs and water damage to them. Now… I completely understand that we are in a “pet friendly” room, but there has to be a standard… we just came from the prospector hotel in Ely Nevada and stayed in their pet friendly rooms and they were so nice… even offered a dog bed for our dog- and the room looked extra clean because of prior pets staying there. We would GLADLY pay extra for a room that is clean and put together. Even double what we payed to stay originally. We did go down to show pictures so we would not be penalized, the lady who helped us was very nice but again the manager was not to be found… or get a refund and go else where, but no manager around to assist. The front desk lady (again very nice) explained we couldn’t be put into a normal room because we have a pet- and that’s understandable but if all the pet rooms have the standard like ours that’s a bit unacceptable. She also explained the rooms look like this because of animals ruining them. Which makes sense on why they do… but charge the owner, fix the damaged property, and clean the room properly. Do not have other guest staying them just because they have a pet. For owners like us who have a very well behaved animal and crate the animal because we respect the room, shouldn’t have to stay in a dirty broken room because others didn’t take care of it.

We stopped at this casino because there was a Dennys inside. The service was not the best. The casino was very empty, and it took us a bit to be seated, but the food came rather fast. It took a while to get our bill as well. We decided to play slots a bit, which is always fun. We loved the Western theme and the Bonnie and Clyde exhibits. I would have loved to see this place in it's heyday.

Ate at the buffet. Food was cold, old, and poor selection. For $35, I expected a lot better selection and freshness. They asked you to tip when you paid. So I did. There is no service at all at the table. They didn't get you drinks, didn't remove plates or anything.Golden Corral puts that place to shame and is much more affordable.

Reading some of the reviews honestly got us concerned and just hoping for the best. Luckily for us, everything actually worked out. Basically, the overall experience will strongly depend on the type of room you manage to get, the time of day you check in, and the amenities you were expecting. We just needed a place to stay overnight so we would be very happy as long as the rooms were clean and updated, so we were extremely elated to get one of the newly renovated rooms. With seemingly only one receptionist working late at night, we got very fortunate that we just beat the rush of 15-20 people waiting to check-in right after us. Finally, we did not gamble at the casino, shop at any stores, or eat at their lone restaurant so I couldn't factor any of them for this review. So altogether, for our needs, wants, and expectations, Buffalo Bill's was 4/5 for us, an overall good experience, and were fairly satisfied with our stay.

We had a terrible experience! Our room was disgusting, it had old dried throw up on the floor by the bed. The bathroom was so gross. We spoke to the front desk and they moved us to another room. The only good thing about the second room was there was no throw up. The bathroom was so bad no one took showers. Everything in the hotel was closed. Dennys and the pizza place both had a 2 hour wait. The ceiling in the hallway's to the rooms where water damage and pieces were falling down. We will never stay here again and I will worn everyone that I know the passes by not to stop.

It's not the the bustling hotel it used to be, lots of stuff is closed. Buffet was OK, feel like it lacked much selection, did have the basics though. Room was decent, furniture has had a rough life. I love this hotel! I always used to come here as a child and still do. One thing is that the rides aren’t going anymore which is a bummer! but i did get to ride the log ride lounger and it was absolutely fun. A second thing is that our toilet flooded our bathroom and the next time it was clogged. But I absolutely recommend this hotel for families or for people who like to gamble. 😊

Stay Away!!!Worst hotel experience ever. Hotel is dark and dirty. The halls are grimy and stink like pot. You can see places where the ceiling is literally rotting away. We’re staying midweek and the only restaurant that’s open in the hotel is Denny’s. They have a food court and other restaurants, but not one of them is open. The “newly remodeled” rooms are a joke and still have what must have been the old yellow showers with crusty moldy caulking still intact. They didn’t even bother to clean them. The toilet paper holder was non existent. I know at one point it existed, as there were holes in the wall where it used to be..The Fire alarm went off at 11 pm for 20 min. The AC unit works, but it is almost louder than the fire alarm…it is so loudIt’s keeping me up, so I decided to write this review….as I lay here questioning my poor life choices, staying here being one of them….

I checked into the hotel. The first joy of this journey was my reservation was lost which was done on their own website. Good thing I had printed it out prior to my departure and was able to stand around for a half an hour while I waited for them to fix my reservation. While waiting I was informed I needed to pay $30 for an additional resort fee. This fee gives me nothing and is a bogus last minute charge. After waiting for a while the staff lectured other guests that they need a drivers license in order to use a luggage cart. I elected to surrender my license so I could use one myself. I got my luggage and went to my room. The second floor wreaked of marijauna. I am for it but, asking for a non-smoking room didn't help offset the hall smell. I got to my room number 256 and the door was not latched. I opened the door and had to make sure nobody else was in my room. I loaded my luggage into the room and went to return the cart.Upon returning to the hotel desk I found out the staff member left the area and nobody could find my drivers license since they didn't follow the established protocol. It was found after five minutes of searching at least. However, that negligence exhibited doesn't sit well with myself. The dinner options for the area are limited if you want to walk. It is bad when Dennys is the second best rating in the walking area. I settled for the pizza place and it was good but, pricey. After dinner I tried to settle in my room for the night. I went to get Ice and pulled out the ice bucket insert. Inside the main container was used qtips. Something tells me they may be there still. I also went to plug in a power strip for my electronics and found more trash behind the nightstand.Regretfully I stayed the night and left as soon as possible the next day. I noticed room 252 has the same security issue room 256 has as I was heading to check out.I will not be back due to these issues.

I was hyped up spending the weekend with the family here, but sadly I didn't enjoy the stay. The waitress would take long, they wouldn't even offer cocktails. There wasn't much to do here. The best part that I enjoyed here was the pizza and Denny's.Our room didn't even have a fridge to put our baby milk or keep or drinks cool. The restroom shower head wasnt even damaged. The water didn't have a regular water flow. Half of the room desk was on top of the other desk. Paint in the wall was peeling and there was water damage on the ceilingHonestly I was expecting more but sadly I have to be honest. My kids didn't even have fun or had nothing to do just be locked up in the room. With no good channels. On every channel it was just the Olympic (08/04/2024)

Stayed here for a night and it’s certainly not worth more than we paid ($56.24). My husband grew up going here and he remarked how empty and dead the casino was compared to the 90s and 2000s. The rollercoaster and river are done, the animatronics weren’t on, and the bustle of the place was a quiet whisper. I thought the casino was neat but as far as rooms go, YIKES. I certainly won’t stay here again. The front desk guy even tried to do the whole wink and a nod that I didn’t have a dog when I was confirming my dog friendly room cause I think he knows how awful they are. It was TERRIBLE. If there was ever a place I’d get offed, it was that room.Cool casino though.

Definitely a nice place to stay or at least for how affordable the rooms are. The rooms in the A Tower are remodeled and nicer than in the B Tower but if you're traveling with a pet, you'll be limited to the later. My wife and I have stayed here a number of times and have always found the beds to be comfortable but the bed covers to be very basic. Not that big of a deal but something worth noting. The casino itself is fun to be in with great atmosphere and it is nice that there are a few restaurants inside including a Denny's. On our most recent visit, we came with a bunch of friends and I was happy to see the hostess be so willing to make it so that all our rooms were close together. Good service isn't always what I expect to find at a hotel like this so I thought it would be worth mentioning.

It's nice to see that all the properties are owned by a new owner, but the vibe doesn't seem like it. Its gloomy, dark, vintage, and could use some updating.Their casino was robbed on July 18th, 2024. It shows they are short on security and the lack of management and training in their department. The motel rooms are not worth the price. The arcade is very small. The restrooms are clean.I never tried the food or drinks.Nobody uses the pool. The AC works in the Casinos. The employees are underpaid. There's RV and Truck parking in the rear.It makes an ok pit stop to get gas, absorb some ac, restroom break, and stretch your legs.
